What Does the Job of a Cotillion Envoy Entail?
Envoys serve as a support system for the Cotillion Formal Presentation. An envoy gets a bird’s eye view of what being a Cotillion Participant is like.
Qualified participants are males who:
- Are in their freshman, sophomore or junior year in high school.
- Hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Are available to assist with the Talent Showcase, usually held mid-February of each year.
- Are available Sunday afternoons in March and April, up through the actual event, to assist with waltz rehearsals, and any other responsibilities as needed.
- Are willing to perform community service (not mandatory) at various locations, sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc.
- Are able to meet the financial responsibility of tuxedo rental.
